About this tool

Captions raise watch-time and accessibility, and the browser now ships a real speech recognizer. Press Start while your video plays out loud (or speak), and each recognized phrase lands on the timeline as a numbered SRT cue; edit any line, adjust times, export a standards-compliant .srt that YouTube, Vimeo and every editor accept. Manual mode covers languages the recognizer doesn't. Your file never leaves this page — processing runs in your browser via WebAssembly; nothing is uploaded and the file is dropped from memory when you close the tab.
