About this tool

Scanned documents and exported slides usually carry a band of white margin that wastes screen space and prints badly. Cropping fixes that, and it is also how you cut a two-up page into two single pages. This cropper works entirely in your browser with pdf-lib: it rewrites each page's crop box, so the original content is untouched and nothing is re-encoded. Because there is no server, a 200-page confidential document is just as safe here as it is offline. Your file never leaves this page — pdf-lib runs in your browser, there is no upload endpoint on this site, and the document is dropped from memory when you close the tab.

FAQ

Is my PDF uploaded?
No. Your file never leaves this page — pdf-lib runs in your browser, there is no upload endpoint on this site, and the document is dropped from memory when you close the tab.
Does cropping delete content?
No. It changes the visible crop box; the underlying content stays in the file, so you can re-crop later.
Can I use different margins per side?
Yes — top, right, bottom and left are separate fields.
Will it fix a skewed scan?
It removes the margins but does not deskew. Rotate first if the scan is tilted.
Any page limit?
No account limits. Very large files are only bounded by your device's memory.
Does it keep links and text selectable?
Yes — the text layer is preserved.
